About Us
The Cherry Tree Inn in Stoke Row
is situated in an area of out-standing beauty
at one of the highest points within The Chilterns.
Originally three flint cottages dating back to
1700's, The Cherry Tree has been a pub for over
200 years. The Inn has recently been taken over
by new owners and has undergone a major re-fit.
The original flagstone floors, beamed ceilings
and fireplaces have been retained and are now
complemented with contemporary style décor
utilising strong colours and modern, comfortable
furnishings.
The food philosophy is simple, quality,
fresh ingredients with uncomplicated presentation
and value for money. The a la carte menu
features a choice range of classic European dishes
served with a modern twist. Daily specials are
offered on blackboards and items such as Lobster,
Oysters and Game are available when in season.
Local produce is used throughout the menu and
a home-made Sunday roast is available all day
Sunday.
| Service is relaxed
and informal but with a commitment to taking
care of the details. There is an eat anywhere
policy with seating for 76 inside with a further
40 outside. |

The full bar includes a selection
of draught and bottled lagers and bitters as well
as Brakspear Real Ale, a selection of fine Malt
Whiskies and brandies, chilled Vodkas and a large
wine list.
The Cherry Tree also offers accommodation
with four double en-suite letting rooms that are
located in an old converted barn to the side of
the Inn. The Cherry, Plum, Pear and Walnut rooms
have all been finished to a high standard with
contemporary designs and the modern comforts and
conveniences usually reserved for city hotels.
Being close to the National Trails
of the Ridgeway and Thames Path and Thames Valley
Cycle Routes, The Cherry Tree is a popular resting
and refreshment stop for walkers and cyclists.
